held at the
VINE INN HOTEL

MURRAY STREET NURIOOTPA
SATURDAY NIGHT - JUNE 17th 7.00PM

A great night was had by riders, partners, friends and committee at this years Rider Draw.

The biggest announcement for the night was to introduce Darren Power of Yamaha and to tell everyone how Yamaha had signed to sponsor the 24hr for the next 5 years.
Darren received a very warm welcome.

From the night has come the all important "Rider Draw" - listed here, thanks to Cynthia Richardson, who has kindly come back to be the Secretary for the event once again.

Special mention of John & Cynthia Richardson as their keen-ness to see the event succeed have stepped out of a very "temporary" retirement to help the 24hr Committee with this years event.
This year is a big anniversary for "JR" as it will be his 40th year associated with the 24hr Trial.

explaining the rules for the event.

"Cynthia" also doing what she does so well,
as Secretary of the event.

John was keen to also mention that there were others who had achieved many years association with the 24hr Trial too:

Seen here with his son Paul, who has lent his Dad his bike for this season. Take note of this bike, Paul has built all the framework for it.

  • ¨ Fred Weckert - in his 30th year
Starting at position 7 Fred will have as passenger, Damien Nash
  • ¨ Chris Pickstock - in his 30th year
Starting in position 109 in the Clubman section

We were also introduced to this years 24hr Merchandise. All the items are really collectables as they are the first to have the Yamaha branding on them, so snap them up while you can. You will be supporting the running of the event as well.

This was the rider’s briefing for the event. If you could not attend you will be required to attend a briefing on the morning of the ‘24’ at the Trotting Complex.
